摘要: Significant tenure reforms have taken place over public forestlands in the past 20 years Latin America. These differ from previous with respect to their origins and goals. In forest reform, rights being granted through a diversity of arrangements, mainly those already living forests collectives rather than individuals, potentially contradictory goals promoting local well-being while conserving forests. face several challenges for achieving resulted ambiguous outcomes. We argue that outcomes people could be improved if, besides simple recognition forests, greater attention is placed on aligning broader policy incentives support community smallholders efforts manage discuss characteristics reform based five cases, representing different four countries
