摘要: Abstract. To study the hydrological cycle over Tibetan Plateau, two GPS receiving stations were established at Naqu in eastern part of plateau and Gaize western August 2000. Diurnal variations atmospheric water vapor during summer are investigated by analyzing GPS-derived precipitable (PW), surface meteorological observation data GMS (Geostationary Meteorological Satellite) infrared (IR) data. The changes greatly on a time scale 10-20 days season. minima diurnal variation appear morning evening dry periods. This may be caused evaporation from earth’s transport local circulations. In wet periods, cloud activity precipitation showed clear with maximum afternoon to evening. However, little day. is close saturated water, amount concentrated convergence almost equal that removed plateau.
