摘要: Abstract The time evolution of the large-scale precipitation, low-level (850 mb) wind, moisture and vertical motion fields over Tibetan Plateau surrounding areas during a 40-day period from late May to early July 1979 is studied based on objectively analyzed FGGE Level II-b data set. During this general circulation East Asia undergoes distinct change characterizing onset summer monsoon circulation. exerts profound orographic thermal influences upon wind field. inflow towards eastern part with marked diurnal in its intensity most prominent feature organized precipitation are well related synoptic systems seen 850 mb flow: quasi-stationary Burma-India trough, disturbances forming “Mei-yu (Baiu)” front, “transverse trough” extending eastward Plateau.
