摘要: The absorption and metabolism of delphinidin 3-O-beta-d-glucopyranoside (Dp3G), which is the most potent antioxidant among blueberry anthocyanins, were studied in rats. Dp3G rapidly appeared blood plasma within 15 min oral administration (100 mg/kg body wt). level absorbed showed two peaks at 60 after ingestion then decreased time-dependently. However, was maintained approximately 30 nmol/l even 4 h. Besides peak, a single major metabolite peak detected by HPLC obtained min. MS NMR spectroscopy clarified that chemical structure 4'-O-methyl (methylation 4'-OH on B-ring). present finding this unique anthocyanin strongly suggests methylation flavonoid B-ring common metabolic pathway for flavonoids carry pyrogallol B-ring, as same type has been reported other such epigallocatechin, but not carrying catechol structure.
