摘要: Hydraulic excavator cycle time and associated unit costs of excavation for given input estimating data, machines operating in the UK construction industry, are predicted. Using multiple regression analysis, three variables identified as accurate predictors time: machine weight, digging depth swing angle. With a coefficient determination (R2) 0.88, mean percentage error (MPE) −5.49, absolute (MAPE) 3.67, model is robust; this further validated using chi‐square analysis Pearson's correlation (on predicted actual values time). An illustrative example model's application to determine productivity given. The paper concludes with spreadsheet calculating (m3 cost per h) which able deal any combination independent predictor other estimator's data.
