摘要: Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) is the sixth most prevalent cancer worldwide. Long-term survival rates in patients with HNSCC have not increased significantly past 30 years. Therefore, looking for novel molecular targets that control progression urgently required to improve treatment of HNSCC. Here, we identified Sorting Nexin 5 (SNX5) as a new regulator plays an oncogenic function progression. Analyzing patients' data from Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) indicates expression levels SNX5 are elevated compared normal tissues. Furthermore, higher correlates worse prognosis patients. These results suggest has role.
