摘要: Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) is the sixth most prevalent cancer worldwide. Long-term survival rates in patients with HNSCC have not increased significantly past 30 years. Therefore, looking for novel molecular targets that control progression urgently required to improve treatment of HNSCC. Here, we identified Sorting Nexin 5 (SNX5) as a new regulator plays an oncogenic function progression. Analyzing patients' data from Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) indicates expression levels SNX5 are elevated compared normal tissues. Furthermore, higher correlates worse prognosis patients. These results suggest has role. Consistently, loss cells dramatically reduces colony formation decreases tumor growth xenograft mouse models. interacts suppressor F-box/WD repeat-containing protein 7 (FBW7), E3 ubiquitin ligase mediates ubiquitination degradation oncoproteins such c-Myc, NOTCH1, Cyclin E1. By interacting FBW7, inhibits FBW7-mediated ubiquitination. In this way, promote
