摘要: The endocytic network is morphologically characterized by a wide variety of membrane bound compartments that are able to undergo dynamic re-modeling through tubular and vesicular structures. precise molecular mechanisms governing such re-modeling, the events co-ordinated this with major role endosomes, cargo sorting, remain unclear. That said, recent work on protein family sorting nexins (SNX) - especially subfamily SNX contain BAR domain (SNX-BARs) has begun shed some much needed light these issues in particular process tubular-based endosomal sorting. SNX-BARs evolutionary conserved complexes as retromer, where they co-ordinate deformation selection. Furthermore central theme emerges linking forming carrier cytoskeletal elements for transport motor proteins dynein. By studying SNX-BARs, we gaining an increasingly detailed appreciation mechanistic basis how highly functions health disease.
