摘要: The sensitivity of catecholamines using selected-ion monitoring gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (SIM GC-MS) has been enhanced by employing a simple clean-up step Sephadex G-10 columns. This procedure allows for the detection extremely small amounts (1-10 pg) biogenic amines (e.g., epinine) which corresponds to 25-fold increase in limits compared electron ionization GC-MS or high-performance liquid chromatography with electrochemical (HPLC-ED). SIM assay was used monitor dopamine-beta-hydroxylase-mediated conversion epinine d6 epinephrine rat hypothalamus and brainstem vitro results were those obtained HPLC-ED.
