摘要: Abstract This study investigates a long-term assessment of the wave energy resource propagated along Algerian basin, based on 39-year hindcast. The hindcast dataset was developed using Simulating WAve Nearshore (SWAN) model, calibrated and validated [1] against measurements performed coast. A detailed spatial local analysis following results. We have determined several parameters including; hourly, monthly, seasonal annual variations resources, probability occurrence distribution for different power ranges with directions, calm sea states, development index (WEDI) total their as function significant height period. All these results enabled very important benchmark decision making regarding future implementation design converters (WECs) other offshore structures in basin. Our findings shown that coasts are characterized by considerable potential large hotspot area eastern coasts.
