摘要: Objectives To assess using fetal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) the relationship between position of stomach as well volume herniation organs into thorax, and observed-to-expected total lung (o/e-TFLV), a measure pulmonary hypoplasia, in fetuses with isolated left-sided congenital diaphragmatic hernia (LCDH). Methods This was single-center retrospective study archived MR images from > 20 weeks' gestation evaluated for LCDH over an 11-year period July 2002 September 2013. We retrieved data on gestational age at MRI, o/e-TFLV liver position. Images were also reviewed by single operator to determine retrospectively proportion thorax occupied herniated liver, other viscera. Following confirmation reproducibility, we assessed correlation intrathoracic organ volumes o/e-TFLV. Results The included 205 which underwent 259 examinations. The reproducibility measurements excellent (intraclass coefficient range, 0.928–0.997). average time spent obtain ranged 2.28 5.13 min. Of all organ-to-thoracic ratios, liver-to-thoracic ratio had strongest (ρ = −0.429, P<0.0001). Stomach did not correlate, although, when categorized extent herniation, there inverse o/e-TFLV. No related age. Conclusions We observed amount chest. Copyright © 2014 ISUOG. Published John Wiley & Sons Ltd.
