摘要: This paper employs the global Malmquist–Luenberger productivity index to measure and decompose green growth for three major urban agglomerations in China over period 2003–2013. As first study known focus on of emerging cities developing countries, results show that technical progress, rather than efficiency improvements, is main contributor growth. Using criterion eco-friendliness, we categorize into ‘green’ ‘yellow’ city groups identify 10 innovators sample cities. The analysis also discusses determinants drivers provides some useful policy implications.
