摘要: We used parameter scanning to emulate changes the limiting rate for steps in a fitted model of glucose-derepressed yeast glycolysis. Three flux-control regimes were observed, two which under dominant control hexose transport, accordance with various experimental studies and other predictions. A third regime phosphofructokinase exerted glycolytic flux was also found, but it appeared be physiologically unreachable by this model, all realistically obtainable featured transport as step involving high control.
