摘要: In patients with late whiplash syndrome, early studies showed a statistically significant metabolic reduction in the posterior parietal occipital region of brain. This could be observed several altogether over 500 investigated both by cerebral blood flow single-photon emission tomography (SPET) and 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron (PET). individual cases, exhibited also regions decreased metabolism which were not localization, but these, no group differences to healthy control determined. Posterior findings can seen other diseases brain affection, e.g., systemic lupus erythematosus, Alzheimer’s disease, or migraine. Such easily excluded purposeful clinical neurological assessment. There are that show similar component as primary depression. these diseases, is, however, affected.
