摘要: DNA is constantly exposed to damaging agents from both endogenous and exogenous sources. If this damage not repaired, it can lead mutations result in cellular dysfunction, including uncontrolled cell proliferation. Thus, order maintain the integrity of genome, a complex network repair pathways exists remove majority deleterious lesions. However, may occasionally fail or become limited due an excess damage, resulting accumulation.
