摘要: Abstract Some recent work in the development of a high energy density lead–acid battery for electric vehicle application is described. Two separate methods are used to achieve this objective. Significant total cell weight savings can be achieved by use an electrolyte management system. This minimises quantity water electrolyte. The second feature concerns form and utilization lead–paste active materials. positive negative pastes carried as slurry agitated during charge/discharge cycle. maximises utilisation materials reduces premature sulphation.
