摘要: Mathematical modeling in cancer has been growing popularity and impact since its inception 1932. The first theoretical mathematical research was focused on understanding tumor growth laws grown to include the competition between healthy normal tissue, carcinogenesis, therapy metastasis. It is latter topic, metastasis, which we will focus this short review, specifically discussing various computational models of different portions metastatic process, including: emergence phenotype, timing size distribution metastases, factors that influence dormancy micrometastases patterns spread from a given primary tumor.
