摘要: 1. A study has been made of the increase in fluorescence desheathed cervical vagus nerve that occurs after electrical stimulation (usually 5 sec at 30/sec) its non-myelinated fibres.2. At room temperature this is normally masked by decrease caused mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation. However, higher temperatures (30-35 degrees C) increasing phase predominates and net change on an increase.3. seen clearly only when ATP splitting prevented ouabain, bathing lithium-Locke solution, or phosphorylation metabolic inhibitors.4. The response absent calcium removed from external medium; it increases with concentration.5. It argued due to glycogenolysis (leading reduced pyridine nucleotide concentration) brought about increased entry during action potential. This presumably activity phosphorylates a phosphofructokinase.6. Calcium also speeds
