摘要: The recent development of models atrial cellular dynamics and realistic anatomic structures has enabled modeling computer simulation to become important investigative tools in the analysis arrhythmias. cell model includes membrane potential, transmembrane ionic currents ion concentrations. tissue describes overall geometric structure as well how cells are interconnected. For these studies, mechanical properties heart decoupled only electrical considered. most use is enabling “clean” experiments, which exactly one parameter interest varied. This may be difficult or impossible do experiments. Modeling provides other advantages when used complement traditional experiments clinical work. Computer simulations can guide by providing hypotheses test vivo that have been verified already silico. In addition, investigate explain experimental observations. continual feedback between experiment reduce time money spent on animal generate valuable information about human arrhythmias while avoiding issues patient safety.
