摘要: Congenital brain tumors are rare, accounting for 0.5% to 4% of all pediatric tumors. A 10-year retrospective study based on autopsy and neurosurgical clinical reports with a diagnosis congenital/fetal/neonatal tumor identified 6 cases. Four cases were diagnosed antenatally by neuroradiology. Clinical outcomes in 5 resulted death; 1 patient choroid plexus papilloma underwent successful resection the is still alive. Tumor pathologies consisted 2 teratomas, papillomas, gemistocytic astrocytoma, glioblastoma multiforme. literature review fetal specific presented this series was also performed. Relative literature, contains rare case congenital astrocytoma. This further sheds light diagnostic, histological, prognostic, therapeutic differences between same pathology older adult populations.
