Background: Ionizing radiation  on the lens of eye can produce a progressive cataract. Small cumulative doses, over long time period, adverse effects professional capabilities health workers in ionizing radiation zone. Objectives: The aim this study was to ascertain whether occupational exposure low levels cause an increase prevalence Method: We compared group with cataract, consisting 115 zone, and two control groups: 100 health-care higher incidence chromosomal aberrations, but without cataract; another 26 outside zone; all risk factors for development cataract were considered: age, sex, difference profession, duration exposure, years service, level blood sugar, pressure, arrhythmias, etc. Results: A more significant found where relative 4.6; p<0.01. Radiology technicians showed highest (63.5%), while physicians-radiologists pneumologists second (15.7%) third (10.3%) respectively; nurses 3.5% nuclear medicine department only 1.7%. Other had effect (p<0.05). Conclusions: Occupational doses radiation, together other factors, is cofactor occurrence as disease among x-ray exposed care workers. categories most at are radiology technicians, followed by radiologists.
