摘要: This paper presents the response of Health Protection Agency (HPA) to 2011 statement from International Commission on Radiological (ICRP) tissue reactions and recommendation a reduced dose limit for lens eye. The takes form brief review most recent epidemiological mechanistic evidence. is presented together with discussion limits in context related risk current status eye dosimetry, which relevant implementation limits. It concluded that although further work desirable quantify better at low doses following protracted exposures, along research into basis radiation cataractogenesis inform selection projection models, HPA endorses conclusion reached by ICRP their equivalent should be 150 20 mSv per year, averaged over five year period, no year’s exceeding 50 mSv.
