摘要: The aim of the present study was to evaluate whether B-type natriuretic peptides (BNPs) could serve as screening markers for detection preclinical vascular disease in community. BNP and N-terminal-pro-BNP were analyzed 1,000 subjects aged 70 years participating Prospective Investigation Vasculature Uppsala Seniors (PIVUS) related different measures endothelial function activation, arterial compliance, carotid atherosclerosis, echocardiographic findings. median levels 42.0 ng/L 110.7 N-terminal-pro-BNP. On adjusted multivariate analysis, 2 BNPs increased left ventricular mass impaired systolic diastolic but not any other assessed entities reflecting disease. In conclusion, are strong cardiac performance cannot be regarded useful states elderly subjects.
