摘要: Abstract Little information is available on the tolerance of pear rootstocks to lime-induced iron chlorosis. In a 2-year study, micropropagated plants OH × F 51, 333, B 21, C 106 and D 50, Adams quince were grown in low calcareous soil (LC, 1.6% lime) high (HC, 72.9% as well mixture HC:LC (50:50, w:w) (M1) at 33.8% lime content (75:25, (M2) 48.3% content. By end Year 2, 21 had reduced dry matter accumulation stem roots HC only; other adversely affected by lower soil-lime contents. Only decreased shoot-to-root weight ratio relation increased lime. Leaf chlorotic symptoms under increasing most severe 50 Adams. Root Ca concentration linearly root manganese rates. Cu with content, latter being ten-fold higher than LC soil. These findings indicate varying susceptibility Rootstock necessary condition order overcome chlorosis cultivars. grafted trees it is, however, possible that mechanisms uptake are involved leaf
