摘要: Abstract Dry eye disease is characterized by symptoms, ocular surface damage, reduced tear film stability, and hyperosmolarity. There are also inflammatory components. These features can be identified various kinds of diagnostic tests (symptom questionnaires, staining, break-up time, osmometry), although there may not a direct correlation between the number or severity symptoms degree damage deficiency. Once diagnosis dry has been established, further used to classify condition into tear-deficient evaporative eye. The two forms mutually exclusive often co-exist. optimal disease, therefore, depends on results several tests, this article suggests an appropriate order for performing these at single clinic visit.
