摘要: The cement industry is one which most emits polluting gases to the environment, due calcium carbonate calcination, as well burning of fossil fuels during manufacturing process. Metakaolin (MK), in partial substitution its applications, having a special worldwide growing role, for technological increment pozzolanic activity and mainly reduction those emissions. In present paper, effect metakaolin was analyzed by thermal analysis pastes mortars type II Portland first three days hydration, which, relevant initial stages hydration process occur.
