摘要: In manufacturing, corporate growth and profitability are more challenging than ever before. The company reviewed in this study has been is currently suffering tremendous growing pains with poor record of profitability. This paper reports learning application a few significant techniques to improve basic business practices company, which manufactures large volume, high quality optical thin film coatings. Some the tasks involved identifying opportunities for improving operational efficiencies included analysis current processes, identification non‐value‐added activities including wastes proposing process changes. Process mapping kaizen “blitz” were utilized during key processes within company. demonstrates measurable results realized through use tools, blitz activities, formalized documented work instructions measurement tools. To ultimately be successful, must educate their workforce create fulfilling environment each employees. Worker involvement essential critical today's society. Gaining worker's trust commitment extremely important.
