摘要: Paget's bone disease is heterogeneously distributed and several foci of high prevalence have been reported in Europe, United States, Argentina Australia. The aim the present work was to determine ethnic origin Buenos Aires using a cross sectional epidemiological study. Sample choice based on sampling according grandparents' nationality. Ninety five percent Paget patients were European descent 5% non-European, while control group proportion descendants lower: 83% (OR: 3.7; p < 0.007; IC 95%: 1.4–9.7). Within with Italian Russian higher than expected 1914 Argentinean census. among migrants citizens. Regardless environmental factors, it likely that carried risk developing disease.
