摘要: The habitat use by Egyptian mongooses during nocturnal and diurnal resting, foraging walking was studied radio-tracking between September 1987 1989 in south-western Spain. Mongooses always avoided open areas, preferred those with dense vegetation both when active. Vegetation types low density of understorey ground cover were used less than expected on the basis availability. No significant monthly variation observed. moved at different speeds each type vegetation. Foraging activities predominated areas thickest vegetation, while more mainly traversed
