摘要: Abstract The effects of moderate hyperthyroidism on lipid metabolism were investigated in six healthy subjects before and after thyroxine treatment (300 μg/d). T4-treatment increased basal metabolic rate (+8%) glucose oxidation (+87%), without affecting oxidation, plasma free fatty acids, glycerol, β-hydroxybutyrate. During euthyroidism, a hypoinsulinaemic-euglycaemic 150-minute clamp protocol energy expenditure (+3%), (+42%), acids (+254%), glycerol (+232%), β-hydroxybutyrate (+343%), but decreased (−20%). Similar observed T4-treatment, induced disproportionate increases (+7%), (+310%), ketone body levels (+436%). We conclude that enhances hypoinsulinemia-induced lipolysis, acid recycling, ketogenesis oxidation. Thus insulin may camouflage some thyroid hormone action metabolism.
