摘要: Abstract Mixing is an important parameter in order to have efficient anaerobic digestion. Computational fluid dynamics can provide a detailed modeling about the hydrodynamics and mixing of In this research, study dynamic digester carried out with aim find best configuration that optimizes mixing. External recirculating pumps are used as system. Respect other works reported literature, results obtained by simulations COMSOL Multiphysics™ for factorial response surface design. The effect nozzles number plane, inlet angle fluid, recirculation velocity, phase displacement between plans on average velocity studied. Results show has four at 45°, 2 m/s alignment. Response methodology finding mathematical model second velocity: its optimal value 0.25 m/s. future construction will verify results.
