摘要: Abstract A research and development (R&D) programme for the ITER blanket-shield modules has been implemented in Europe to provide input design manufacture of full-scale production components. It involves particular fabrication testing mock-ups prototypes shield blocks first wall (FW) panels. This paper summarises main achievements obtained so far presents latest results this R&D programme. In particular, it reports status with a prototype. also high heat flux thermal fatigue tests FW mock-ups. describes preparation irradiation experiments Be coated Finally, outline possible qualification that each contributing participant teams should pass prior procurement ITER.
