摘要: Abstract The purpose of this paper is to provide some lessons for policy makers who are involved in implementing TVET projects the developing world. It presents findings a study 19 which were implemented Jamaica, and Gambia, over 1980 1996 period. A case method was adopted, involving semi-structured interviews with key officials each country collection appropriate documents. specifically concerned identifying role played by overseas aid agencies corresponding impact depending on foreign consultants project components obtained from developed Overall, it found that dependence could have negative impact, both project's implementation its long term sustainability. Furthermore, illustrates how different types dependency manifest themselves at various stages life cycle funded agencies. concludes suggesting steps might be taken reduce likelihood being an influential factor future projects.
