Variation of the energy gap with composition in AIBIIIC2VI chalcopyrite-structure alloys

摘要: The nonlinear variation of the fundamental energy gap ${\mathit{E}}_{\mathit{g}}$ as a function composition x observed in ${\mathit{A}}^{\mathrm{I}}$${\mathit{B}}^{\mathrm{III}}$${\mathit{C}}_{2}^{\mathrm{VI}}$ chalcopyrite-structure alloys is discussed. downward optical-bowing parameter scrc these analyzed terms current models given literature. A relationship between and difference electronegativities \ensuremath{\Delta}X atoms mixed to form alloy obtained. Also, an expression predict ${\mathit{E}}_{\mathit{g}\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$vs-x curve for proposed good agreement with experimental data found.
