摘要: OBJECTIVE--To investigate the risk of prostate, ovarian, and endometrial cancer among relatives patients with breast cancer. DESIGN--Cohort study 947 pedigrees in which proband had cancer, linked Icelandic registry. SETTING--Iceland. SUBJECTS--The included 29,725 people, whom 1539 467 prostate 135 ovarian 105 MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES--Risk blood women compared spouses. RESULTS--The was significantly raised for all (1.5), first degree (1.4), second (1.3) Risk (1.9) only (1.9). The if a relative CONCLUSIONS--Coaggregation exists between cancers ovaries, endometrium. This relation is probably based on genes act by increasing at these sites. Environmental factors that are common may also play part. Continued research required into pathophysiological mechanisms could explain observations.
