摘要: This study evaluated the diagnostic usefulness of tumor marker concentrations in cytologic fluids (CF) for subtyping non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and assessed relationship between fluorine-18fluorodeoxyglucose ( 18 F-FDG) uptake with serum CF levels. prospective included 88 patients diagnosed adenocarcinoma or squamous carcinoma (SCC). Cytokeratin-19 fragment (CYFRA 21-1), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), (SCCA) samples were correlated concentrations, F-FDG uptake, NSCLC subtype. Fifty-eight adenocarcinoma. Multivariate analysis revealed higher SCCA levels; smoking status predicted SCC from showed highest accuracy (83%) distinguishing obtained during routine needle aspiration biopsy procedure contain levels sufficient to distinguish adenocarcinoma; had accuracy. Lung cancer, leading cause death worldwide, has a 5-year survival rate less than 15%. However, recently developed chemotherapeutic agents molecular targeting have significantly improved prognosis nonsquamous (NSCLC). 1-5 Accordingly, accurate subclassification these
