摘要: The study aimed to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and transformational leadership in the sports managers of Alborz province, Iran. method was correlational. research population consisted 101 province 2012. Since population size limited, all members of were considered as sample. data collected using Cyberia-Shrink Emotional Intelligence test (CSEI) (1999; Moradi, 2005) Bass’s Multifactor Leadership questionnaire (1985). reliability scales calculated be 82% 73% for CSEI questionnaire, respectively, using Cronbach’s alpha formula. Data analysis conducted SPSS software. analyzed both descriptive inferential statistics including mean, standard deviation, minimum maximum scores, Pearson correlation formula, independent t multiple regression analysis. results revealed significant positive correlations, both simple multiple, style province. From among components intelligence, motivation had a greater role predicting emotional its are learnable, it is recommended that included educational planning managers.
