摘要: Nucleotide sequences of cDNA were used to construct antibodies against an aquaporin (AQP) expressed in the clawed toad, Xenopus laevis, viz., AQP3, a homolog mammalian AQP3. AQP3 was immunolocalized basolateral membrane principal cells ventral skin, urinary bladder, collecting duct and late distal tubule kidney, absorptive epithelial large intestine, ciliated oviducts. Therefore, we designated this AQP as (AQP-x3BL). The intensity labeling for AQP-x3BL differed between dorsal with skin showing intense labeling, whereas that lightly labeled. also secretory small granular mucous glands skin. As AQP-x5, AQP5, is localized apical these same cells, provides pathway fluid secretion by glands. Although Hyla AQP-h2 translocated from cytoplasm bladder response arginine vasotocin (AVT), immunoreactivity remains barely moves membrane, regardless AVT stimulation. AQP-x3 even though AVT-stimulated does not translocate membrane. These findings provide new insights into function aquatic anurans.
