Mental Health Consumers as Peer Interviewers

摘要: Although consumers are increasingly hired as mental health workers, they typically fulfill demanding jobs such case manager. This study examined the performance and job satisfaction of 18 with serious illness who were for less work—to conduct highly structured interviews their peers. The completed 243 Only one interviewer was unable to perform work. Ninety percent satisfactorily. Interviewers reported increased skills knowledge, improved self-assurance, feelings pride. Results suggest that a wide range can treatment tasks.
