摘要: Abstract Kinetics of the (Na+ + K+)-ATPase salivary gland have been studied in a dipteran, Chironomus thummi using biochemical methods. Half maximal activation is attained at concentrations 0.5 mM Mg2+, 3.5 Na+, and 1.5 K+ 2 10 Na+ 5 K+. The tissue contains both ouabain-sensitive (pH optimum 7.6) ouabain-insensitive Mg2+-ATPase activity 9.6). inhibition by ouabain occurs 1.2 × 10−7 M complete 10−4 M. effect K+-dependent. significance results discussed relation to possible role ions gene process.
