摘要: Purpose Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic eczematous that has high prevalence and diverse clinical features. Although several hypotheses about its multifactorial pathogenesis have been suggested, the cause not yet fully understood. A better understanding of features may helpful inelucidating AD. Methods This retrospective study analyzed questionnaires, medical charts, laboratory examination results 5,000 patients diagnosed with AD at single tertiary hospital in Korea. Results The demographics, allergic comorbidities, family history, severity, treatment experiences were analyzed. Most adults, 76.3% whom classified as havingan extrinsic type mean eczema area severity index (EASI) score was found to be 13.68, adult higher than other age groups. anatomical involvements different among groups, more head neck adults. reported seasonal changes stress factors aggravated their symptoms most.
