摘要: Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) waste fibers were initially depolymerized using a glycolysis route in the presence of sodium sulfate as catalyst, which is commonly used chemical and ecofriendly compared to heavy metal catalysts. Good yield pure monomer bis(2-hydroxyethylene terephthalate) (BHET) was obtained. Further, attempt its reuse, purified BHET converted different fatty amide derivatives obtain quaternary ammonium compounds that have potential for use softener textile finishing process. The products characterized by infrared spectroscopy. Application these synthesized carried out on cotton fabric; they evaluated performance found give good results. chemicals during depolymerization reuse PET are inexpensive comparatively less harmful environment, thus offer advantages recycling polyester fibers.
