摘要: The effects of crystalline fields on $3d$ charge densities and magnetic form factors for transition metal ions are discussed the basis recent theoretical investigations augmented by an analysis optical absorption data. It is shown that field has two free ion wave functions hence their as well: (1) a differentiation or "splitting" types cubic expansion ${t}_{2g}({e}_{g})$ orbitals contraction ${e}_{g}({t}_{2g})$ resulting in different radial densities, (2) net distribution from value. due to this effect when calculated according methods Weiss Freeman show measurable deviations atom results. A factor ${\mathrm{Mn}}^{+2}$ based data shows large density, agreement with measurements Hastings, Elliott, Corliss. This agreement, use ${F}^{k}(3d, 3d)$ integrals, indicates well-known discrepancy between experimental values these integrals arises fact quantities obtained experimentally not true integrals. potential array negative been employed discuss various meaning respect proper (essentially molecular) treatment.
