摘要: Background and objective To correlate fundus autofluorescence (FAF) characteristics of metastatic choroidal tumors with optical coherence tomography/scanning laser ophthalmoscope (OCT/SLO). Patients methods A retrospective review 10 metastases in 9 patients. Results All were amelanotic, although 8 exhibited surface pigmentation. FAF imaging revealed hyperautofluorescence areas focal pigmentation subretinal fluid hypoautofluorescent margins (n = 5) corresponding to OCT evidence retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) thickening fluid. Loss RPE was hypoautofluorescent. images changed tumor growth. best elevation the retina, folds, detachment. Conclusion defined margins. correlated hyperpigmentation, fluid, advancing edges. better demonstrated intraretinal findings (atrophy, increased lost RPE). This study shows that reveal unique metastasis.
