摘要: Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the use a horizontal packed bed bioreactor, named Biopack, treat high strength wastewater, such as bakers yeast wastewater. Biopack system (RBC P ) is modified rotating biological contactor and applied for secondary treatment. RBC produced treatment efficiencies, COD removal 94.9% when 472 mg/l surface organic loading=0.187 kg COD/m 2 per day hydraulic loading=6 l/m day. Variations loading from 6 11.9 decrease in efficiency 94.9 58.6%. Other factors, shock load, retention time rotational speed were also investigated.
