摘要: Simultaneous nitrification with denitrification was investigated using a single rotating biological contactor (RBC). The authors proposed two means to achieve simultaneous in the reactor: (1) control oxygen transfer rate by reducing partial pressure (P 02 ) air phase and (2) develop combined partially (aerobic) fully (anaerobic) submerged RBC (CPFSR) reactor. For former experiment, maximum efficiency of 90 % obtained at C:N ratio=6 P =0.10 atm. Moreover, heterotrophs, NH 4 - NO 2 -oxidizers, denitrifiers were distributed throughout biofilm, suggesting that can occur wheresoever local environment meets their growth conditions. latter effects type organic matter influent carbon:nitrogen ratio (C:N ratio) on CPFSR Acetate, ethylene-glycol, phenol, poly-vinyl-alcohol (PVA) used as carbon sources for denitrification.
