摘要: The yeast tcml gene, which codes for ribosomal protein L3, has been isolated by using recombinant DNA and genetic complementation. fragment carrying this gene subcloned we have determined its sequence. 20 amino acid residues at the terminus as inferred from nucleotide sequence agreed exactly with data. composition of encoded that purified L3. Codon usage in was strongly biased direction found several other abundant Saccharomyces cerevisiae proteins. no introns, appears to be atypical structural genes.
