摘要: The efficiency of exchange between the mediating nitroxide moieties at termini growing polymer chains during “living” free radical polymerizations has been probed by a series crossover experiments using functionalized unimolecular initiators. design appropriately substituted initiators permitted synthesis specifically model polymers which could be readily distinguished high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Using these models, mixture macromolecules obtained from 1:1 combination disparate was separated and identified. results reveal that radicals is facile process essentially all stages polymerization nearly statistical products obtained. HPLC techniques developed are also useful in evaluating extent chain termination mediated polymerizations.
