摘要: Ventricular arrhythmias constitute the main cause of sudden cardiac death. In elderly, their presentation may be manifested by intermittent confusion or unexplained falls. some cases, they also asymptomatic. The primary management goals are to identify and treat underlying prevent recurrence. With exception beta-blockers, none other antiarrhythmic drugs available reduce mortality associated with ventricular arrhythmias. these a higher risk adverse events. this article, authors review data regarding evaluation in elderly.
