摘要: The maxim tolerance of polarization-mode dispersion (PMD) in transmission systems at different rates is analyzed this paper for the first time. PMD two are measured and compensation through conventional single-mode fiber (G.652) with Bragg gratings (FBGs). results show that 10-Gb/s system not necessary, but must be compensated 40-Gb/s system. We compensate it by using a short length polarization maintain (PMF), obtain good results. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
