摘要: Lung cancer is the leading cause of death in world, and searching for novel efficacious safe agents lung prevention remains top priority research. In present study, we evaluated effect bioactive tanshinones from a Chinese herb Salvia miltiorrhiza, cryptotanshinone (CT), tanshinone I (T1) IIA (T2A), on proliferation inhibition cell lines. Tanshinones inhibited vitro, with T1 most potent, via cycle arrest apoptosis induction. Gene function assay showed that Aurora A knockdown by siRNA dramatically eliminated activity suggesting an important functional target T1. We further effectiveness growth H1299 nonsmall mouse model. Tanshinone tumor dose-dependent manner. at 200 mg/kg body weight significantly reduced final 34% (P < 0.05) associated inhibiting inducing cells 54% (P < 0.001) 193% (P < 0.001), respectively, angiogenesis 72% reducing expression 67% (P < 0.001). On other hand, did not alter food intake or weight. Our results provided experimental evidence to suggest may be agent progression molecular action against cancer. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
